  Summer has barely arrived before it's almost gone again. When the leaves slowly start to change colour, it's usually the perfect time to seek out some sun and warmth somewhere, before autumn arrives and days become shorter. We did the same - and spent five days exploring the Croatian coast . Here is a short photo report.  Road to nowhere?  Our journey began adventurously - namely with a somewhat scary display of our train in the direction of the airport. Fancy a hike with spectacular views? Then I have an idea for you! This week, a little dream finally came true: I did the hike to the Tschingellochtighorn in the Bernese Oberland, which I had already seen in so many pictures and somehow impressed me. And it was worth it!  Here are the facts about the hike: Starting point: "Adelboden, Unter der Birg" Bus stop, then by cable car up to Engstligenalp mountain station. Duration: approx. 3,5 hours Altitude metres: approx. 785 m up, 785 m down Route: Engstligenalp - Ärtelegrat - Tschingellochtighorn - Engstligengrat - Chindbetti Pass - Engstligenalp The hike is easily doable in dry weather and doesn't need any special gear except good hiking shoes. Although you walk along a ridge in places, even I, with my fear of heights, managed it well and was able to enjoy the spectacular views. My boyfriend and I are both not particularly good at simply doing nothing. Just spending a weekend at home, hanging out on the sofa or sleeping in? Diiifficult...  No, we're always drawn away. Like two fleas with itchy feet, we have to dash through the countryside, follow our curiosity and discover the world. This was also the case on the weekend we got on our motorcycles and headed for the Black Forest. As we are both big fans of castles, there were two main things on our to-do list: Hohenzollern Castle in Bisingen and Lichtenstein Castle in the village of the same name. Both buildings look like something out of a Disney movie or a romantic fairy tale.  We also passed some exciting places on the way, such as the open-air museum in Neuhausen ob Eck , the Thyssen Krupp elevator test tower and the beautiful towns of Rottweil and Tübingen .   Finally, summer is here! Ooh, how I had missed it! And with the summer came back my wanderlust! That's why I treated myself to three nights in the Grimsel region .  The first night I spent in a hotel on the Grimsel Pass at 2,164 meters.  The Grimsel Pass is a Swiss mountain pass that connects the Bernese Oberland with the Upper Valais and separates the Bernese Alps from the Uri Alps.  The next day I hiked on to the Bächlitalhütte SAC at 2,328 meters (from the bus stop Räterichsboden to the hut in approx. 2h). I enjoyed a night there before hiking back down and spending another night at the top of the pass.  I can highly recommend the region and the hike to the SAC hut (hike from . Paris is one of my absolute favourite cities. It never gets boring. Every time I go back, I discover new things - and see things that I have to remember for my next visit. For me, there's something magical about the city. Sure, the city is touristy and doesn't always have much to do with the cliché of the romantic city of love. And yet: for me, it remains magical. I could sit for hours in a café in Montmartre, sipping a glass of rosé and people-watching. And I admit that a French chanson is constantly playing in my head when I do that (so much for clichés...). But enough raving now. I want to let the pictures do the talking. They were taken during my last visit in June. "Italy is always a good idea" . That's what me and my friend thought when we were thinking about where to spend a long weekend in May. The choice fell on Bergamo, a city in the Lombardy region, about a 1-hour train journey from Milan.  And the choice was a good one: Bergamo is a great city. Compared to its sister city Milan, it is small and cosy, less crowded and ideal for simply strolling around and going from aperitivo to aperitivo. The famous Dolce Vita.  And the fact that Bergamo actually consists of two towns (an upper and a lower town) makes it even more special. Bergamo is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and a trip there is definitely worthwhile!  Here are a few tips for a city trip to Bergamo before I let the photos talk: Getting there: It takes around 4 hours by train from Zurich to Milan and a another hour to Bergamo.
