In the times of Corona there is unfortunately not much to tell about trips and excursions. Nevertheless, I would like to tell you about a little hike we recently did. We did a small part of the Alpenpanoramaweg, a trail which leads from Rorschach in the east to Geneva in the west (total 510 km). We did the part from Appenzell to Urnäsch in the beautiful Appenzell region, which is one of my favourite regions in Switzerland, I always have the feeling that the grass is a little bit greener there than in the rest of Switzerland. If you want to experience the picture-book Switzerland, this is the right place. The hike was easy (ca. 3.5h, 13 km) and once again reminded us that sometimes you don't have to travel that far to clear your head and encounter wonderful landscapes.
