Last weekend I had the chance to explore another wonderful city - Annecy, a town in southeast France. With its approx. 125'000 inhabitants it is not very big but it has its own charm. When you watch the photos, you will find out quickly why it is called "Venice of the Alps". We started our trip on Friday evening after work - what a fantastic feeling to walk out of the office and just start a weekend trip! :-) As Annecy is only half an hour away from Geneva, we arrived there just before the last rays of sunlight disappeared. On our way to the restaurant, we walked along the canals and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Isn't it pretty? We found a cute, little restaurant just next to the canal and traditionally ordered a bottle of red wine. What a perfect start for the weekend! :-) The next day, we started to explore Annecy by daylight, walked along the waterfront again... ... explored the colorful shops....
